“TheEngineer” The Poker Players Alliance’s (PPA) representative on the Two Plus Two forums is reporting that Friday it will be announced the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) will have its implementation delayed another 6 months. The implementation of the UIGEA has been set back several times, but the law has not been repealed. However, most financial institutions are reportedly already in compliance with the law, so any impact is already being felt. Basically, if it ever comes into effect, it is very likely you will not even notice. However a full repeal of the law would likely mean deposits on poker sites would become easier. More on this as it develops. Players are encouraged to visit the PPA Action Website and make calls to their representatives and Senators to encourage them to repeal the UIGEA.
