This one actually shocked me. At first Pokerstars didn't even have a first deposit bonus, just reloads. Then they switched to the small 50 dollar bonus. Now they've completely changed things with a giant 600 dollar bonus. The news isn't all good. The terms have changed. Now instead of 10 FPPs per dollar the bonus clears at a rate of 17 FPPs per bonus dollar. That doesn't quite double the time needed to clear a dollar of bonus money, but it is close. So what was a great bonus for newer players is now a bonus that higher stakes players can tackle, like the Pokerstars reloads. Deposit using the STARS600 code for this bonus.
Because of the size, Stars lets you make 3 deposits within the first 30 days of the bonus to deposit up to 600 dollars. The bonus has a 6 month time limit, and clears in increments of 10 dollars.
A full re-review of the Pokerstars bonus will be posted soon, and the US Players Guide will be revised.
The 35 dollar UPB bonus remains unchanged. You can still clear an easy 35 dollars by signing up with Pokerstars, so head over to the UPB Bonus section for more details on that.
