Party Poker is moving away from dealt rake calculation. If you remember, Party Poker were the kings of dealt poker bonuses in the hey day of online poker and while there bonuses are no longer calculated by raked hands, Party Points were. Now however they will be determined by the weighted contributed rake formula. Basically this means that your contribution to the pot will be your contribution to the rake. If you put in half of the money, you will get credit for half of the rake paid. That means that set mining will be less profitable on the Party network, and more loose, aggressive play will be rewarded in their VIP program. It isn’t a huge difference, but it will exist.
