Play Aces Poker (also known as Players Only Poker) is running the Tour De Poker, which we outlined here. While it is probably too late to cash in the rake race portion unless you are a high volume, high stakes player, the freerolls still have tons of value. Why? Because people forget they qualified! Today’s tournament had about 125 entrants and more than half the field didn’t show up for the $5,000 Freeroll. The top 50 cashed, and the field was so barren that one player who didn’t log in, and didn’t play a single hand made it to 29th for a $75 pay day. So it’s really worth earning the 1,000 points per week for the next two freerolls since you are almost guaranteed to cash, unless someone invents a memory ray. That and there’s still the grand final at the end of the month with a $20,000 prize pool that I have a feeling even fewer people will show up for. Not a member of Play Aces Poker?
