Pokerstars is offering micro stakes players a chance to increase their rewards with MicroMania. Micro Mania basically increases the Pokerstars VIP Player Point (VPP) Frequent Player Point (FPP) yield on micro stakes tables. This promotion runs from July 1st through July 31st, and benefits both cash game and tournament players. First up, there is a weak reload bonus for current players. Use the bonus code MANIA and make a deposit of at least $10 to get a $1.10 Micro Mania tournament ticket. New players can use that code to get that ticket plus a $600 deposit bonus.

The real value is at the tables, however. Play at any of the designated micro stakes cash tables and you will get at least 50% more rewards. Rather than 5.5-6 points per $1 of rake for six max and full ring respectively the table will will get a flat rate of 10 VPPs. Players on the Euro tables will earn at a rate of 12.5 VPPs per Euro.

That means you will have a much better clearance rate for your pending bonuses, since you will be earning FPPs much quicker. So if you are a nano or micro stakes player, this may be the best time to sign up for Pokerstars. These rewards apply to players playing up to NL 10 (.05/.1) and limit stakes of $.1/.2. So not all micro stakes players are included, but the ones who have the most trouble clearing bonuses are.

Tournament players have not been left out either. The MicroMania specials with the $1.10 tickets or buy in are $1,000 added tournaments and will be running four times a day for the month of July. $100,000 is being divided up for SnG players as well. This is for the MicroMania Super Sit & Go tournaments. These are 50 player SnGs where the winners get a share of the $100,000 prize pool. Your final prize at the end of the month depends on how many people win these $1.10 SnGs.
