Carbon Poker is offering another mini rake race to players. The King of the Hill race will run every Wednesday and only for 24 hours. It is open to members of the VIP program. The five tiers of the VIP program each have their own leaderboard and prizes for this promotion, with increasing prizes at each level. For example, the Earth level pays out the top 10 players from $5 for 10th to $25 for 1st. This doesn’t sound like a lot, but 10th only took 875 points to qualify for this week meaning it added about an extra 4% rakeback to that players total. The first place player added nearly 9% rakeback to his total. That is nothing to sneeze at when you combine that with 35% rakeback and their reload bonuses and other VIP rewards. That is also only the lowest level of the promotion!

The top tier, Ether’s winner took home $100 for just 6,100 points meaning he raked in an extra 10% rakeback. The 5th place finisher only got $50, but it took him just over 2,000 points to do it meaning he earned an extra 15% rakeback during this race.
