Also, theoretically you only need $40 to get started on this guide based on the first signup bonus, however as you're likely to be playing at least .25/.50, and .5/1 is highly recommended for faster clearance, it's wise to have a least $100 due to variance.

Pokerstars sign up bonus is fairly small, and clears fairly slowly, but compared to other American bonuses is worth doing, especially since their reload bonuses are far more valuable than the sign up making this worth doing once you reach this bankroll level when a player can in theory play 1/2. 4. Royal Vegas Poker: 100% up to 200 dollars sign up bonus 5x Poker Points to clear. Royal Vegas' bonus has been changed, and while it isn't as profitable as before it is still a quality bonus for US Players. However, it should not be done until a player has a bankroll for 1/2 or higher. At .5/1 the bonus will be closer to a 25x raked hand bonus, while at 1/2 it is closer to 12x. 5. Cool Hand Poker: 100% up to 350 dollars sign up bonus. 10x raked hands to clear.. Cool Hand Poker, formerly Trident Poker features one of the largest bonuses on Prima that is still quite easy to clear, especially for American players with a small bankroll. 6. Bodog Poker: 110% Bonus, 3 Bonus Points per bonus Dollar for first 10% 10 points for the rest of the bonus.  Bodog's new bonus is a good deal for a player building a bankroll. The 10% portion of the bonus which is paid into your account on sign up requires only 3 points per dollar, however it will require a 500 dollar bankroll to take full advantage of it, meaning it is best done after Golden Tiger. 7. Golden Tiger: 50% to 200 dollars sign up bonus. 10x raked hands to clear. (Plus UPB Bonus) Golden Tiger's bonus is still vital for players with an emerging bankroll. It will increase your bankroll by nearly 50%, (Assuming you do Cool Hand first.) and the raked hand requirements are quite reasonable at 10 raked hands per dollar. 10. Full Tilt Poker: 100% up to 600 dollars, 16.67 points per bonus dollar to clear. (UPB Bonus: 27% Rakeback) Full Tilt's Bonus when combined with rakeback (though they do not stack as Absolute does, rakeback combined with bonus gives you substantially more cash than just the bonus.) makes Full Tilt the best destination for an American player with a robust bankroll, or one needing a boost to put it over the top. The bonus itself does not begin clearing quickly until 2/4 or 3/6 limit Hold Em, and a player playing here with rakeback will make a considerable amount of money over the long term.
